SHOPPINGKingscote shopping centre hours are from 9am to 5.30pm weekdays and from 9am to 12noon on Saturdays. In January some outlets have extended shopping hours to cater for visitors. Drake Foodland is the Island’s main supermarket, open from 8am to 7pm weekdays, with late-night shopping on Thursday, and on Saturday from 8am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. BANKINGThere is one automatic teller outlet on Kangaroo Island - at Bank SA inKingscote, but EFTPOS facilities are available in most shops and after hours at most service stations in Kingscote. FUELFuel can be purchased from a number of service stations in Kingscote up until 7.30pm. Portable gas cylinders can also be topped up at most fuel outlets. MEDICAL SERVICESThere is a medical clinic in Murray Street, which is open between 9am and 5.30pm and on Saturdays/Sundays at 9am and 6pm until all patients have been seen to.
